I found out that this is about how people keep their lives private on social networking sites and make sure that they use protection to keep their things private on social media. They mentioned a scene that was true and said that in America that there was school that gave out computers with a webcam and teachers were watching and listening on conversations and seeing what they were doing. When hearing a story like this people need to make sure that they are aware of these issues and make sure that they can prevent it from happening to them somehow. Also, on Facebook you can change settings to your profile to see what you keep private and not keep private. They said that the way people talk to friends and family are different to each other as they need to form those privacy boundaries from each other.
In my opinion I think that its better if you have these private settings and keep most of your private life private. This is because then people wont get involved in your business and people wont see what you are doing. They are right to say that we keep our friends and family life separate to each other as we do as its something to say that we don't say certain things and do certain things around them. Having a private is important and having some privacy as its something that people would want to keep to themselves and make sure that's its only for certain people.

The internet revolution
The nature of information-
Communication- Now that internet is in much more use, people have been lacking communication amongst themselves.This is because we become more dependant on the internet and use our phones, email, texting to communicate with friends and family. In some way this is bad as using too much of the internet isn't good and we have to talk to people face-to-face as using the internet to communicate is too lazy.
Privacy-Its important to have some sort of privacy as the things we want to keep private we don't want people to know about it. Some people do show or tell people a lot of private things but some people don't want to do that. On nearly every website and app and account they let you make certain things private and they tell you what's going to be private. This is good as it makes the audience feel more protected.
Community- The community that we live in and is around us can see and hear what's going on. Having a community can depend on how we see certain things or how want to hear it. For example, if a robbery was going on in a house and they stole a T.V some people would say they robbed that house for everything they had, some would say they didn't take anything etc. When hearing certain things we decide what we want to believe.
Online safety-Its very important for people to be safe online as there are many things that can happen and change people lives. People should be aware of grooming, paedophiles, money, cyber bullying etc. There are many things that can happen over online and its important for people to be aware so that they know what to do and how to avoid bad situations like this.
Business-Some people like to keep their business to themselves and not let anyone know about it. This way they can carry on with what they are doing and not let anyone interfere and get control of what they wanted to do.
Culture- There have been some problems where internet has been a big thing. Things on the internet have caused problems for many people and internet has really been useful.
Copyright- Copy righting is a bad thing that shouldn't happen. If someone has done something that made them happy somebody shouldn't try and exploit as their own and take all the credit as they do get found out in the end.
